SLAVE TO VANITY

Conceptual project | Collaboration amongst artists portraying the human struggle of striving for visual perfectionism and ultimately succumbing to being slaves to our own vanity. 

Statement: As we strive for perfectionism, we move away from the real. The imperfect becomes unacceptable and though we try, we cannot live up to the unrealistic, impossible ideal we set for ourselves. We become slaves to our own vanity. And sometimes, in the process, we begin to lose our souls.
